The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, H.E. Gedu Andargachew on Monday (March 09) held talks with H.E. Moussa Faki Mahamat, Chairperson of the African Union Commission regarding the status of the ongoing negotiation on the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam.<\/p>\n

The Minister reiterated that the negotiations on the GERD should be held in line with the principle of fair, equitable and reasonable utilization of transboundary natural resources.<\/p>\n

The African Union Commission Chairperson for his part underlined that the negotiation on GERD should strike a fair deal benefiting all stakeholders.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
