The House of Federation has begun its second regular session.<\/p>\n

The constitutional interpretation and identity affairs standing committee of the House forwarded a resolution on the postponement of the general elections.<\/p>\n

The committee proposed all federal and regional state councils to continue functioning provided that the spread of the coronavirus remains a threat to the country.<\/p>\n

It also proposed the election be held within 9 months to 1 year if pertinent bodies confirm that the virus will no longer cause damage to the country.<\/p>\n
