Today 09 April 2025, Ambassador Eshete Tilahun discussed with Mr. Alain Dominiques Quintart, Head of Government & Public Affairs Europe Africa and Middle-East of Syngenta. The discussion focused on projects in Ethiopia and the potential for diversification and expansion of investment.<\/div>\n
Mr. Quintart briefed Ambassador Eshete about one of Syngenta\u2019s farms in Ethiopia run by the company since 2008. The farm covers 108 hectares where cuttings of Pelargonium and Mandevilla flowers are produced.<\/div>\n
Ambassador Eshete appreciated the investment undertaken by Syngenta and highlighted Ethiopia\u2019s agri-business potential for mutually attractive benefits. He called for further expansion and diversifications through public-private partnership and joint-venture investment modalities in the areas of excellence that Syngenta has built good reputations.<\/div>\n
