President of Addis Chamber and Belgian Ambassador to Ethiopia held discussions to revamp trade and investment<\/div>\n

As part of the reform program being undertaken, Addis Chamber is taking bold measures to boost partnership on the basis of mutual interest and cooperation.<\/div>\n
The extension of such endeavors are reflected in recent period when president, board of directors and senior management of Addis Chamber presumes discussions aims at bolstering mutual cooperation.<\/div>\n
In a latest move, President of Addis Chamber, Mrs. Zehara Mohammed, warmly received Belgian Ambassador to Ethiopia to her office, H.E Annelies MG Verstichel Brussel.<\/div>\n
In their discussion president of Addis Chamber Mrs. Zehara Mohammed applauds the commitment of Belgian Ambassador and her endeavor to enhancing strategic ties and partnership between the Belgian Embassy and Addis Ababa Chamber of Commerce to promote trade and investment between businesses of the two nations.<\/div>\n
During their meeting Mrs. Zehara also said, \u201cOur Chamber is keen to solidify collaboration and unlock new opportunities for growth, trade, and investment, and will be working closely with the embassy to enhance business-to-business relations and explore the diverse opportunities both countries offer\u201d.<\/div>\n
Expressing her delight to meet Chambers high profile officials, Belgian Ambassador to Ethiopia H.E Annelies MG Verstichel Brussel, underscores the interests of Belgian businesses to trade on textile, health sector, such as pharmaceuticals, medical waste management and recycling.<\/div>\n
H.E Annelies MG also disclosed about the upcoming trade mission event that is expected to be hosted in June this year to bring Belgian businesses to Ethiopia and urged local businesses to make use of such opportunities for better future.<\/div>\n
Such mutual cooperation unfolding between the two will also address the challenge of access to business information, cooperating to host\/ support the upcoming B2B\/ Belgium Business mission\/, capacity building, sharing, exchanging, and disseminating business and investment opportunity platforms and information to Addis Chamber members to support informed decision-making.<\/div>\n
