Ambassador Eshete Tilahun briefed Mr. Kurt Vandenberghe on the upcoming the Second African Climate Summit (ACS2) and highlighted Ethiopia\u2019s Flagship Climate Initiatives. He emphasized the importance of strengthening the partnership between Ethiopia and the European Union in the area of Climate Action cooperation in the context of the Global Gateway Initiative.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Mr. Vandenberghe appreciated Ethiopia\u2019s green growth commitments and commended efforts in advancing a climate-smart initiatives. He also mentioned the EU’s interest to partnership with Ethiopia in carbon pricing and carbon markets projects.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
