Ambassador Eshete Tilahun held fruitful discussion with Ms. Holy Ranaivozanany, Deputy Executive Director of the Africa-Europe Foundation at his office on 26 August 2025. The discussion focused on how fostering mutually beneficial Africa-Europe partnership. AU-EU partnership focuses on clean energy, digital transformation, youth leadership, infrastructure, and the transition minerals sector.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The Deputy Executive Director briefed the role, activities and working process of the Foundation. It works to facilitate multi-stakeholder dialogue, catalyse partnerships between the two continents by building a true partnership and a vision for a shared future. Ms. Ranaivozanany expressed the Foundation\u2019s interest to work in collaboration with the Ethiopian Government in the upcoming Second Africa Climate Summit (ACS2) and the seventh AU-EU Summit.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Ambassador Eshete on his part acknowledged the contribution of the Africa-Europe Foundation on facilitating cross continental cooperation between Africa and Europe. He appreciated the commitments of the Foundation to work with African Institutions including Embassies.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The two sides have agreed on the importance of continuing to exchange views and reaffirmed their commitment to cooperate on areas of common interests.<\/div>\n
