H.E. Ambassador Eshete Tilahun held a courtesy meeting with H.E. Ambassador Pierre Cartuyvels, Head of Protocol of FPS Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation of Belgium. The Ambassadors exchanged views on enhancing working relation that commensurate with the more than a century diplomatic relations. They also discussed on preparations for the upcoming 120th Anniversary of Diplomatic relations and ways of successful commemoration.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Ambassador Eshete had also, earlier today, a phone discussion with Ms. Stijn Janssen, Special Envoy of the Netherlands for the Horn of Africa and Head of Division for the Horn, East and Southern Africa. The two officials among others, highlighted the convening of political consultation, the 100th Anniversary of Diplomatic relations between Ethiopia and the Netherlands. At both interactions, the inauguration of the Grand Ethiopian Renaissance Dam (GERD) and other issues were raised<\/div>\n
