During their discussion, Mr.Sidibe appreciated Ethiopia for closely\u00a0working with UNAIDS and noted that the country’s achievements in the\u00a0health sector, particularly meeting the health-related Millennium\u00a0Development Goals was significantly commendable.<\/p>\n

He also reiterated his Organization’s commitment to continue to\u00a0support Ethiopia in a bid to help the country meet the globally set\u00a0plan of ending AIDS epidemic in 2030.\u00a0Dr. Workineh on his side thanked UNAIDS for the support it has been\u00a0offering to Ethiopia in the purduit of containing the AIDS epidemic.\u00a0In such regards, the Minister mentioned Ethiopia’s health policy and\u00a0particularly its preventive strategy.<\/p>\n

The two sides have agreed to boost their collaboration against ending\u00a0AIDS by 2030.<\/p>\n
