The TPLF launched an offensive on the morning of August 24, 2022, reigniting the conflict and flagrantly violating the humanitarian truce.

The TPLF falsely alleged that the Government of Ethiopia had commenced another “full-fledged war”. TPLF’s propaganda machinery is at the same time spreading this falsehood, betraying a well-orchestrated effort.

Diplomats and staff members of the Embassy of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Brussels visited the Royal Palace of Brussels, today, the 23rd of August 2022. The visit was organized by the Embassy’s Public Diplomacy Section in collaboration with Ms. Naomi Meulemans, a Belgian of Ethiopian origin and a founder of Ethiopian Art Conservation Program.

Ambassador Hirut Zemene had a discussion with the Board of Flemish Inter-University Umbrella Organization for Development Cooperation (VLIR-UOS) through a brief cultural and friendly consultation held at the Embassy of Ethiopia on the 18th of August 2022. The consultation was made in the spirit of celebrating the more than two decades-long higher education cooperation and strengthening it further.
