The EU-Ethiopia Business Forum, hosted by the European Commission, will take place on May 14 in Brussels.
The objective of this Forum is mainly to support and stimulate European private sector trade and investment.
During this high-level business forum you will hear practical information about doing business in Ethiopia and you can interact with top-officials from the Ethiopian Investment Commission and with other high-ranking officials from Ethiopia.
In the presence of Mr. Jyrki Katainen, vice-president of the European Commission and Commissioner for Jobs, Growth, Investment and Competitiveness, the day-long program will focus on four key sectors in Ethiopia. These sectors are:
- Agroprocessing
- Textile, apparel and leather
- Pharmaceutical and medical
- ICT
A delegation of business-leaders from Ethiopia is also expected, who shall be available for matchmaking during the event on May 14th, and the following day.
Please notice that access to the EU-Ethiopia Business Forum is free of charge but kindly keep in mind that a final selection of participants will be made by the organizers on May 7th.
