A delegation led by H.E. Ambassador Hirut Zemene, representing the Ministry of Finance of Ethiopia has taken part at the 116th meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Organization of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States (OACPS) that took place from July 19-20, 2023, in Brussels, Belgium.
The Ethiopian delegation actively contributed to various decisions aimed to enhance solidarity, promote trade access and value addition as well as mays and means of resource mobilisation in meeting the challenges across OACPS member states.
On a parallel event, the signing of the Post Cotonue Partnership Agreement was also endorsed at the European Council Summit today which is an important frame work of cooperation between the OACPS countries and the EU.
OACPS is a group of countries in Africa, the Caribbean and the Pacific, established in 1975 through the Georgetown Treaty.
