The Embassy welcomed and discussed with Mr. Micheal Kögeler – CEO of Nedamco Africa, a subsidiary company of Nedamco Capital based in Bloemendaal, Netherlands; and Mr. Jan de Jong, a founding member of Nedamco Capital, a US-based global technology development and investment company.
The company is dedicated to creating positive environmental and societal impacts by delivering innovative climate technology solutions targeting critical challenges like water scarcity, renewable energy, and sustainable agriculture. Mr. Kögeler briefed the activities the company has been conducting to actualize the role it strives to play in “Enabling a Striving, Climate Resilient Africa”.
The embassy appreciated the initiative of the company as timely, stressing the importance of leveraging such technologies for decision-making, and appreciated the company’s interest in digital capacity building for the youth in the continent and water conservation programs among others in Ethiopia.
