Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed today (December 11) exchanged views with the Prime Minister of Norway H.E. Erna Solberg.
They discussed the ongoing comprehensive reforms in Ethiopia and ways to boost ties that help Ethiopia build capacity for its new Navy and achieve positive results in its ‘Green Legacy initiative.’
The two sides have also deliberated on the need to establish experience-sharing platforms between Ethiopian and Norwegian women who have assumed high-level Government positions.
As a part of tradition for the Nobel Peace Prize winners, Prime Minister Dr. Abiy has also met and held a discussion with the President of the Norwegian Parliament, H.E. Tone Wilhelmsen Trøen and Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs and Defence, H.E. Anniken Huitfeldt.
Their discussion was mainly focused on the political, economic and social reforms that are undergoing in Ethiopia under the leadership of Dr. Abiy.
