The Embassy of Ethiopia in Brussels, in collaboration with the CBL-ACP, has held a pharmaceutical and agro-processing business roundtable in the presence of businesses from Belgium and the Netherlands.
H.E Daniel Teressa, Deputy Commissioner of the Ethiopian Investment Commission, and his team familiarised participants with the upcoming Investment Summit that will be held in Addis Ababa from 26-28 April 2023. They also highlighted the importance of the pharmaceutical and agro-processing sectors. Representatives from Belgian investors working in Ethiopia-Durabilis and Piratos also shared their experiences about doing business in Ethiopia. Mr. Gemechis Tujuba, the Ethiopian Airlines area manager for the Belelux countries, also explained the airline’s critical intervention in fostering the business links between Ethiopia and many parts of the world, including the Belelux.
The meeting was moderated by HE Ambassador Hirut Zemene and Mr. Yvan De Kormic, representative of the CPL ACP.
Important business representatives, among others, from the Netherlands Africa Business Forum, International Flower Traders Association, and Atridius, the Trade office of the Netherlands Embassy in Addis Ababa, were present.
The event was organized to attract businesses from Belgium and the Netherlands to take part in the upcoming Ethiopian Investment Summit in Addis Ababa from April 26- 28, 2023.
