Ambassador Eshete Tilahun held a courtesy call and bilateral meeting with Ambassador Mahen Abhimanu Kundasamy, Ambassador of the Republic of Mauritius to the Kingdom of Belgium, at the Embassy of Ethiopia on on 3rd July 2026.
Ambassador Eshete underscored the importance of strengthening bilateral consultation between Ethiopian and Mauritius diplomatic mission on issues of common interest.
He emphasized the value of working collectively within the framework of the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (OACPS) to advance shared interests and priorities on global platforms.
On his part, Ambassador Kundasamy reaffirmed the necessity of enhancing bilateral cooperation, specifically focusing on economic sphere. He also called for enhanced Global South cooperation to further strengthen ties between OACPS member States. Both Ambassadors agreed on the importance of maintaining open and constructive dialogue on issues of mutual concern.
