Ethiopia participates on Food and Nature Forum
Ethiopia participated at the Food and Nature Forum which was organized by Alliance of Biodiversity International and CIAT on the side line of Brussels Climate week. Mr. Semungus Habtegiyorgis, Deputy Head of Mission delivered opening remarks highlighting centrality of the nexus between climate change, agriculture and investment in improving food security. He underlined that climate action and development are not competing priorities but mutually reinforcing objectives. Ethiopia’s irrigated wheat program and Green Legacy initiative were presented as demonstrative commitments for tackling the impact of climate change and enhancing agricultural productivity.
