Diplomats and staff members of the Embassy of Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia in Brussels visited the Royal Palace of Brussels, today, the 23rd of August 2022. The visit was organized by the Embassy’s Public Diplomacy Section in collaboration with Ms. Naomi Meulemans, a Belgian of Ethiopian origin and a founder of Ethiopian Art Conservation Program.

Ambassador Hirut Zemene had a discussion with the Board of Flemish Inter-University Umbrella Organization for Development Cooperation (VLIR-UOS) through a brief cultural and friendly consultation held at the Embassy of Ethiopia on the 18th of August 2022. The consultation was made in the spirit of celebrating the more than two decades-long higher education cooperation and strengthening it further.

The Embassy Hosts a Coffee Trade Promotion Event

On 29 June 2022, the Embassy of Ethiopia in Brussels hosted a virtual coffee trade promotion event titled “Ethiopian Coffee: Buy Coffee from its Origin”. The event was aimed at showcasing the immense opportunities that Ethiopia offers in coffee sector to Benelux coffee businesses as well as creating links between Ethiopian exporters and buyers in the Benelux (Belgium, the Netherlands, and Luxembourg) countries.
