H.E. Ambassador Hirut Zemene met with H.E. Delphine Pronk, Chair of Political and Security Committee of the European Union.

H.E Hirut Zemene, Ambassador Extraordinary & Plenipotentiary of the F.D.R of Ethiopia took part in an Economic Diplomacy Day in Namur, the capital city Wallonia region of Belgium. The program which was hosted by the Consular Corps of Namur province had been attended by Ambassadors, Honorary Consuls, business, and prominent personalities.

On 31 May 2022, the Embassy of F.D.R. Ethiopia in Brussels hosted a virtual tourism promotion event aimed at showing the newly added touristic destinations in Addis Ababa to the tour operators based in the Benelux countries (Belgium, the Netherlands & Luxembourg) as well as linking them with Ethiopian tour operators.

A delegation, from the Embassy of Ethiopia in Brussels, led by Her Excellency Ambassdor Hirut Zemene visits the headquarters of The Schippers Group located in the town of Hapert in The Netherlands on 23 May 2022. The Schippers Group is a family-owned Dutch company founded by Schippers family in 1966. As one of the largest suppliers for intensive livestock farming globally, the company develops knowledge, services, and products to improve hygiene in livestock farms around the world. Is has production facilities in different continents.

H. E. Ambassador Hirut met with officials of the Netherlands Foreign Ministry from May 23rd to 25th as part of her introductory links with a bid to strengthen the long standing bilateral ties between the two countries.
