The Embassy welcomed and discussed with Mr. Micheal Kögeler – CEO of Nedamco Africa, a subsidiary company of Nedamco Capital based in Bloemendaal, Netherlands; and Mr. Jan de Jong, a founding member of Nedamco Capital, a US-based global technology development and investment company.

Brussles, August 31, 2023: H.E. Hirut Zemene, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia to Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands and E.U. met today with Prof. Dr. Nina Wilén, Director of the Africa Program at the Egmont Royal Institute, and exchanged views on how to strengthen bilateral cooperation between Egmont Royal Institute and the Ethiopian Foreign Affairs Institute.

H.E Ambassador Hirut Zemene held a discussion with the Representatives of Dutch Companies which are currently investing in the Horticulture sector in  Ethiopia and expressed gratitude for the initiative taken by the Director of Beekenkamp, Mr. Marc Driessen, for bringing together the group for an important exchange of views.

A delegation led by H.E. Ambassador Hirut Zemene, representing the Ministry of Finance of Ethiopia has taken part at the 116th meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Organization of African, Caribbean, and Pacific States (OACPS) that took place from July 19-20, 2023, in Brussels, Belgium.
