H.E. Ambassador Hirut Zemene held a discussion with Ms. Laetitia Counye, Manager of Private Equity of the Belgium Investment Company for Developing Countries (BIO), on Ethiopia’s Investment opportunities.

H.E. Ambassador Hirut Zemene attended an event organised by Women Ambassadors’ Network in Belgium on Monday, the 18th of April 2023, at the Federal Parliament of Belgium.

Today, H.E. Ambassador Hirut Zemene took part in an event organised by Women Ambassadors Network in Belgium to discuss with H.E. Hadja Lahbib, Minster of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs, Foreign Trade and the Federal Cultural Institutions of the Kingdom of Belgium.

H.E. Ambassador Hirut Zemene met and exchanged views with Madam Andrea Koulaiman, Director for Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, Latin America and Pacific at the ECHO Commission( Europian Civil Protection and Humanitarian Aid Operations) on collaboration between Ethiopia and the Commission on issues related to humanitarian assistance.

H.E. Ambassador Hirut Zemene held a fruitful discussion with H.E. Andris Razāns, Ambassador of Latvia to the kingdom of Belgium at the premises of the Embassy on the 11th of April 2023.

The Embassy of Ethiopia in Brussels, in collaboration with the CBL-ACP, has held a pharmaceutical and agro-processing business roundtable in the presence of businesses from Belgium and the Netherlands.

H.E. Ambassador Hirut Zemene met and discussed with members of the Benelux delegations from the Netherlands and Belgium foreign ministries that will be heading to Ethiopia from 22nd – 24th, March 2023.
